Bloomfield Road
Bloomfield Road is the home of Blackpool FC. The stadium is under development at the moment, a development that has taken years. The North stand, North-East stand and East stand have been completed to create a L shaped home end. Away fans are housed in a 1900 seater tempoary stand which due to not having no roof has been nicknamed the Gene Kelly Stand, as the away fans will be singing in the rain.
At present the South stand at Bloomfield Road is due to be developed but the project has been delayed untill the office spcae in the stand can be rented out to cover the costs of construction. The delay of the development of Bloomfield Road has caused fustration among fans and with the side in the championship the ground has been filled to full capacity on numerouse occasions.
